Il 14 luglio 2023 è stato firmato il Contratto collettivo Nazionale di lavoro per il triennio 2019-2021 del comparto istruzione ricerca.
Questo contratto, che coinvolge più di un milione di lavoratori, è stato sottoscritto dalle singole rappresentanze sindacali.
Il Ministro dell'istruzione e del merito, Giuseppe Valditara, si è espresso pienamente soddisfatto per l'esito delle trattative che hanno portato alla firma dell'ipotesi di contratto collettivo nazionale.
Il contratto aumenta le protezioni per i dipendenti del settore scolastico, includendo anche aumenti salariali per l'intero comparto.
